From a Headhunter ritual to the Cat Spirit charm in one league.
Sometimes the game just wants you to win.
The exact charm that dropped — 17 second Cat spirit roll. Absolute unit.
The Drop That Broke Me
You know those leagues where everything just lines up? I was already riding high after pulling a
Headhunter from a Ritual altar. Then, while clearing a pack of exiles,
one of them gets possessed by the Cat’s wisp. I take him down… and
the Rite of Passage Golden Charm drops.
I just stared at the screen for a solid 10 seconds. “No way. No fucking way.”
Back-to-back chase uniques in the same league. My chat went nuclear. This is the kind of luck that
makes you question if GGG secretly loves you.
“I killed the exiled who was possessed by the Cat’s wisp and wouldn’t you know it,
the Golden Charm of the Cat dropped?”
What Does This Thing Actually Do?
The Rite of Passage is a Unique Golden Charm – one of the
most sought-after items in the current Runes of Aldur league. It’s not just another rare with good stats.
This thing is a full-on chase unique.
Refill at Wells or by killing monsters.
The Real Power: Spirit of the Cat Possession
When you kill a Rare or Unique, this charm automatically activates and possesses you with
the Spirit of the Cat for 17 seconds (rolls between 10–20s).
During this window you get some of the strongest temporary buffs in the game:
The 15% rarity is always active while the charm is equipped. The Cat spirit is the cherry on top, especially strong for crit-based Amazon, Ranger, or any evasion-stacking build.
Why This Drop Feels So Good
Farming it intentionally usually involves heavy Abyss + wisp strategies to maximize possessed monster spawns.
Getting it “for free” from a random possessed exile while mapping? That’s the kind of drop that makes
the whole league feel worth it.
This league has been ridiculous so far.
What’s the luckiest drop you’ve had this league?
