Diving into the Dust Front RTS demo felt like stepping back into classic real-time strategy glory with a gritty post-apocalyptic twist. Set on a war-torn planet buried under layers of soot and concrete, this demo lets you command massive strike groups in a full-scale siege of a heavily fortified industrial city. I went head-to-head against both the fast-moving Bandit faction and the terrifying Mutant hordes – complete with heavy armor, disgusting worms, and flies that force brutal close-quarters chaos. The mix of resource management, base building, unit production, and macro-level army command delivered that satisfying RTS rush I love.
In my extended playthrough, I experimented with unlocked high-tier tech, procedural map variations, and difficulty multipliers to really test the limits.
