PC System Requirements

To enjoy The First Descendant on PC, your system must meet certain minimum and recommended specifications. The game is set to open on July 2, so make sure your setup is ready.

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 ×64 20H2
  • CPU: Intel i5-3570 or AMD FX-8350
  • System Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • VGA: GeForce GTX 1050Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space (Installation in SSD Recommended)

Recommended Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 ×64 20H2
  • CPU: Intel i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
  • System Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • VGA: GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space (Installation in SSD Recommended)

Note:

  • At the very first moment of gameplay, the graphic quality option will be automatically set up based on PC specifications. Graphics can be upscaled or changed manually.
  • For better gameplay performance, the graphic quality option for minimum requirement PCs with less than 8 GB System Memory and 6 GB Video Memory will be fixed to ‘Low.’

Console Graphic Modes

The console experience for The First Descendant is also tailored to provide optimal performance across different platforms. Below are the available graphic modes, which will be open on July 2.

Notes:

  1. Balanced Mode and AMD Frame Generation can only be activated on a 120Hz display.
  2. Ray Tracing can only be activated in Fidelity Mode or Balanced Mode on PS5 and XSX.
  3. Graphics options are unavailable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox One S.

Graphics options can only be changed from the “title screen.”
