About World of Warships

World of Warships LogoWorld of Warships is a team based mmo fps naval themed game produced by Wargaming. The game features similar aspects to World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, by having several types of military ships filling in different roles.

Roles include:

Aircraft Carriers: – able to launch fighter planes and torpedo bombers.
Battleships – tank ships with powerful main guns, slow reload.
Cruisers – fast, various abilities (some can outfit torpedoes, short/long range AA etc.) depending on hull.
Destroyers – very fast, short & long range torpedo depending on hull, some hulls have AA.

Players gain experience and credits based on their performance during battles in either co-op or random mode against other players. These points can be used to research and purchase additional ships of varying tiers as they progress through the tech trees of different nations.

Grouping is called a Division, which is similar to flights in World of Warplanes and platoons in World of tanks. Player wars in World of Warships will be played out in the ocean where clans take or maintain control of a region.
